Dana Marxer, MSEE, MBA

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Dana has led marketing and product management teams for over 20 years. She has a proven ability to distill new thought leadership concepts and create visionary marketing strategies with proven impact on revenue. Her work with the analyst community has led to superior ratings of technology companies, including leadership positioning on the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Dana brings a unique mix of skills as an innovative, strategic marketing leader, with the analytical approach and tactical execution of an engineer. Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering and Economics as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College, a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland. Dana is a devoted mother to 5 boys. They are her greatest inspirations.

Kia Christopher

Partner, Chief Operating Officer

Kia has mobilized go-to-market plans and marketing strategies for dozens of high-growth B2B technology companies. At Gen5, Kia manages lead generation campaigns from initial strategy to reporting and optimization and everything in between. Her work establishing marketing to inside sales to outside sales processes, architecting complementary systems (CRM, marketing automation), and aligning disparate functions results in accelerated sales growth. She works closely with clients to coach existing team members, and augment as needed. Kia graduated with honors from Appalachian State University’s Walker College of Business with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in International Business and Marketing. In her free time, Kia can be found spoiling her basset hounds and exploring the great outdoors.

Jenny Keinath

Director, Marketing Operations

Jenny brings over 20 years of sales and marketing operations experience to Gen5. She wears multiple hats – from developing strategic processes to managing internal operations and operational teams to event strategy and project management. In addition, she works in close collaboration with the Gen5 leadership team to ensure delivery of all client deliverables – on time and on budget. Prior to Gen5, Jenny worked at Siemens where she was responsible for customer events, sales and marketing operations, and was a project manager for global marketing. Jenny has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jenny is a native Charlottean and enjoys volunteering, spending days on the water, and time with her family.
